TACCA Association Assistant

Reports To: TACCA Executive Director with direction and supervision from Operations Specialist
Organization: TACCA – Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association
Employment Status: Full Time Hourly
Salary:$18--$20 an hour

KEY RESPSONSIBILITIES

• Be the voice of TACCA! Answer incoming calls with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Provide top-notch customer service to members and the public.
• Register individuals for memberships and training classes.
• Set up and manage class registrations in our system.
• Update website content as needed.
• Assist with book ordering and inventory.
• Assist with light bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Assist with social media postings
Assist with the planning and staffing of TACCA Live 2025
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of office experience.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people.
• Ability to take direction well and work efficiently.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of membership management platforms (e.g., CRM systems) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Canva a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position may require occasional travel for events and conferences.
• Hybrid or remote work options may be available.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• This is an hourly, full-time position at 40 hours a week.
• Hourly Range $18-$20
• This position does not include retirement or health benefits.
• Paid time off is accrued at one day per month worked
