Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TACCA Appoints New Board Members to Fill Unexpired Terms for 2024 Austin, TX — TACCA - The Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association is proud to announce the appointment of five new board members to fill unexpired terms. TACCA is the premier organization serving the HVAC/R community in Texas through education, networking, leadership, and resources. These new board members bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to customer service. Jay Villegas Region V Director, Frontier Air, Mission, Texas  Jay Villegas hails from Mission, Texas, where Frontier Air has won the Carrier President’s Award five years in a row. As a generational business, Jay works alongside his father and brother. Jay says, “I am joining the board because the industry is transitioning to generational and technological change, and I would like to gain as much knowledge as possible to help with the change. It won't be easy, but we're needed in everyday life, though forgotten.” Ruben Sanchez Region V Director, Colair Inc., Rio Grande Valley
 Colair Inc, a second-generation family-owned business, has been serving the Rio Grande community for 39 years. Colair’s main focus is to show team members the company cares so they can pass that same level of care to customers. Ruben’s quote: “Leave the customer’s home better than you found it. By joining TACCA, I’d like to learn new ideas from others and learn more about serving the HVAC community so that I can leave the HVAC industry better than I found it.” Ricky Cox Region III Director, Texas Total Comfort Systems, North Texas  In addition to his role as the new Region III Director, Ricky Cox is a Texas Mason Shriner, Grand Commandery officer, and a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show syndicate. Texas Total Comfort Systems proudly has a Bulldog mascot named “Freon.” Ricky says, “I love being involved in organizations that help others and help society. TACCA fits that description. I also love this trade and believe that although considered 'Blue Collar,' it’s professional, and TACCA helps contractors be professional and successful and better serve customers.” Dustin Hansford Region III Director, 4-L Engineering, North Texas  Dustin Hansford has served the commercial HVAC and plumbing service industry for nearly 20 years. For 60 years, 4-L Engineering has specialized in solving complex problems in an ever-changing environment using new processes and technology, most of which they develop, to support their technicians and customers. Dustin says, “I am excited to join the TACCA Board of Directors and look forward to working collaboratively with my fellow board members to enhance our programs and services. I am passionate about HVAC/R and the people that work in it and am eager to contribute to our community’s growth and success.”
Thomas Coleman Associate Director, HVAC Area Operations Manager, Ferguson Enterprises  Thomas Coleman will fill the unexpired term as an Associate member on the State board. Currently, he serves as the HVAC Area Operations Manager for Ferguson Enterprises, overseeing HVAC operations across the Southern District, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, and Northwest Arkansas. Thomas says, “I am truly honored to join the board of directors for the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of HVAC contractors across Texas. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues to enhance the support and resources available to our members, ensuring their businesses thrive in our ever-evolving industry.” TACCA is excited to welcome these new board members and looks forward to their contributions to the association and the HVAC/R industry in Texas.
