Meet Ron Solomon - TACCA's Newest Instructor

Although it will be hard to replace Rick Moore, who taught his last class for us on May 7 before retiring, we are excited to announce our new instructor for the North Texas area, Ron Solomon. Ron brings 40 years experience in the industry, which he got into in order to support his Harley Davidson. Ron has an Associate degree in HVACR technology from Austin Community College, an Associate degree in Electronic Repair from Texas State Technical College, has been a licensed HVAC contractor since 1998, and passed the refrigeration A exam in 2019.

Ron is a certified NCCER instructor and has spent time as a trainer for TDIndustries and a subject matter expert for ACR licensing. He feels that instructing is related to giving back to the industry, and according to Ron, "There are a lot of things learned in the HVAC trade that are not on paper and only passed on by word of mouth."

In his spare time, Ron loves to dove hunt and go fishing with his grandkids and has a 14-ft. V-Bottom Lone Star fishing boat he uses whenever possible.

We are pleased to have someone with Ron's experience stepping up to teach for us and look forward to having him in the classroom.
