Our instructor, Wayne Young, has been teaching this course for 15 years and continually works to update and improve the content. We get a number of calls asking about the timing of taking the prep class. We recommend that anyone seeking licensure first submit their application to the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation and obtain approval in case there are any delays in processing the paperwork. Once you receive approval to take the exam, we recommend scheduling to take your exam at a PSI location about 1-2 weeks after taking the exam prep class. After two full days of working through test-taking techniques, this gives the brain a bit of a rest to process the information and be at its best on test day.
